Describe your current work:

The Pregnancy Care Center is a locally organized, non-profit Christ-centered ministry offering life-affirming services designed to empower women and men in making informed choices about unexpected pregnancy, sexual integrity and recovery from post abortion trauma.

PCC is affiliated with CARE NET, a national network of over 400 centers.  The center also provides on-going support services such as friendship and emotional support, maternity and baby clothes, food, and infant furniture.  At the Carvotta Caring Center, free parenting classes are taught by community professionals who volunteer their time.  The PCC also assists with medical referrals, vocations and/or education information to continue work or school during pregnancy, legal referrals, adoption and foster care.  Educational workshops are offered to schools, youth programs, and church groups.

Suzanne Barnhill and others from FBC have been active in the various ministries. Several participate in the Walk for Life fundraiser each year. Volunteer opportunities are Board of Directors, Peer Counselor, Receptionist, Help-line, Sexual Integrity Education, Special Events, Baby/Maternity Room, Post-Abortion, Educators/Christian Professionals Needed, Prayer Ministry and Church Liaison.
