DEFINITION OF MISSIONS

Any endeavor aimed toward the goal of reaching beyond the needs of the local congregation for the purpose of fulfilling the Great Commission – proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ, making disciples and relating the whole need of mankind, both spiritual and physical.

The Missions Committee receives updates and special prayer requests from our missionaries throughout the year.  We would like to share as much of that info with you as you are interested in receiving.  Please let us know your level of interest, and we will do our best to keep you informed. If you are interested in any of the following, please contact the church office at staff.fbc@comcast.net or call the church office at 893-9191.

• If you would like to receive one monthly e-mail summary of prayer requests and updates for our missionaries. 
• If you would like to receive e-mail copies of all newsletters from our missionaries.  (These would be combined into one e-mail per week.)
• If you  would like to receive only e-mail relating to urgent prayer requests for our missionaries.
