DOROTHY KINSMAN- Retired
Retired South American Missionary
Support Start Prior To: 1963
Describe your current work:
Dorothy Kinsman and her husband, the late Rev Dudley Kinsman, sent monthly newsletters and visited our church for many years. Many remember the snake skin he would bring to show. (Dudley went to be with the Lord in 2003). They went as missionaries to Brazil on July 4, 1941. The Kinsman’s ministered for thirty years in the jungles of Brazil among native Indians, and saw many of them transformed.
Since May 1985 Dorothy has been living in South Carolina and this year is 89 in November. Today she is retired and has very few earthly possessions. Dorothy speaks in local churches. She gives out tracts and keeps in touch with supporters. In 2002, The Flute Players, the story of Dudley and Dorothy Kinsman’s work among the Nhambiquara Indians of Brazil was published. Contact the missions committee if you are interested in reading this book.
